The performances include La croqueuse de diamants -a romantic comedy, Cyrano de Bergerac – a tragic romantic story, Deuil en 24 heures – a black comedy, and Carmen – a tragic romance.
is the 1951 Stanley Donen romantic/comedy musical starring Fred Astaire, Jane Powell, Peter Lawford and Sara Churchill telling the story of an American brother and sister dance team in London in 1947 during the height of the royal wedding of Elizabeth and Prince Phillip when the siblings find loves of their own!
The Blue Angel
is the 1931 black and white Josef von Sternberg dramatic musical starring Marlene Dietrich, Emil Jannings, Kurt Gerron and Rosa Valetti telling the story of a strict educator who falls hopelessly in love with a beautiful cabaret dancer and ruins his life chasing that which he cannot hold. Blue Angel, the first major German sound film, brought Dietrich international fame and introduced her signature song, “Falling in Love Again (Can’t Help It)”.

is the 1946 Richard Whorf and Vincent Minnelli musical comedy starring Robert Walker, Van Heflin, June Allyson, Lena Horne and Judy Garland telling the story of famed songwriter Jerome Kern’s charmed life leading up to his Broadway opening of “Show Boat.” Consisting of many musical numbers, the all-star cast includes a bevy of Hollywood talent including Kathryn Grayson, Frank Sinatra and Dinah Shore, among many others.
